  I ordered, but realized that my wallet was with my friends. I was gone five seconds, but the girl told is have to wait until she took someone else's order. They weren't busy! So they lost out on a large order.

  I was at this Westfield mall in Escondido last Wednesday getting a car battery check-up.As we all know getting work done on your car can take hours but my wife and I had recently been to the new Elixir Expresso & Wine Bar in La Jolla and we found out they also have a location in this center.As it turned out Elixir was on the bottom level only a short walk from the store where I dropped my car off.A young lady named Jackie greeted me very happily and took my order for a latte and a crepe.I know their coffee is very good because they use our favorite Caffe Calabria roasted coffee beans at all their locations and their long slim crepes are very good value.Thanks to Ty for making my superb latte and the delicious crepe.And thank the stars I found some place decent to have lunch at because my car wasn't ready for another 3 hours.....and for around $13 with a tip it was great value.Friendly staff,great service,terrific food and beverages and a handy location away from the food court makes this business a winner.
