  I stopped by to get an authentic German treat for a friend of mine. His mother comes from Germany and I thought they would like it. It was my first visit to this bakery. I purchased one of their Stollen breads. I had one (actually two) of the Stollen samples and it was delicious. I also purchased a fruit-filled coffee cake. We traditionally have a Van de Camp cake each year for Christmas morning. Never again. The fresh-made coffee cake was the most delicious I have ever tasted.. 30 seconds in the microwave and it was a melt-in-your-mouth treat. I will now be stopping by Wedeking’s Bakery on a regular basis. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out on a great old world bakery.
