  I was a patient of Nancy Chen for several years. While her personal competency is excellent, the practice is run like rush hour traffic in Los Angeles. Due to the hectic pace and nature of the office, call backs related to lab work etc., were significantly delayed in several instances. In one case the findings were significant, but until I called the office days after they received the results, I did not obtain the information. One office staff member working the counter area is curt, at times rude and appears to be an unhappy person.
  
  I had a removal that required closing and within two days of the procedure, I had a severe infection resulting in the stitches tearing out of my forearm due to the swelling. This brings to question the cleanliness of the room and supplies used on the day the procedure took place. I went into the office early in the morning two days after the procedure and shared with the office member above that I needed Dr. Chen to take a look at the obvious infection and provide me a prescription for an antibiotic. The staff member suggested I sign on the patient register and wait my turn. I asked her if when Dr. Chen moved from one room to another could she please have her check my forearm. I was informed that it would not be possible until my name in the order came up. After waiting 45 minutes or so I left the office and went to my primary physician who quickly noted the severe infection and gave me a prescription for an antibiotic.
